Terms of Use
Acceptance
By reading or using pcperipherals.online you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes measurement notes about computer peripherals. Figures describe the specific unit, firmware version and test rig recorded on the day of the test. They are observations, not a certification of any product line.
No professional advice
Nothing here is engineering, safety or legal advice. Wiring, opening a device or modifying firmware can void a warranty or create a hazard. Decide for yourself and accept the risk.
Measurement limits
Latency, response time and polling figures depend on the capture equipment, the host machine, the cable and the room. A figure measured on our rig can differ from the same unit measured elsewhere. Treat every number as one sample.
Affiliate links
Some outgoing links are affiliate links and can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change which units get tested, nor what the measurements say.
Intellectual property
The text on this site is ours. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under their own free licences and remain under those licences, credited on the note where they appear. Short quotation with a link back is welcome.
User submissions
If you send a correction, a measurement or a tip, you allow us to publish it with credit. We will not publish your email address without asking first.
Third-party sites
We link to stores, manufacturers and reference material. We do not control those pages and are not responsible for their content, pricing or availability.
Availability
The site is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be up, complete or free of error, and we may change or remove any note at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a purchase, a modification or a decision made on the basis of a figure published here.
Governing law
These terms are read under the law that applies where the site is published. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
